THANKS A MILLION! The two Derbyshire Premier and County sites, League and Cup, combined have passed the million hits mark since we set the sites up in 2002

The distribution meeting on Wednesday April 9th saw almost £50,000 of cricket balls, plus over 4500 handbooks and yearbooks, and more than 10,000 forms and envelopes, and assorted other items, distributed to the 78 clubs in less than two and a half hours!

Details of the structure for 2009 and where the end of season placings for 2008 will be likely to be placed are now online in News. New teams from existing clubs have until August 31st to apply for 2009.

The County League announced its new sponsors at the Annual General Meeting; Marston's will sponsor the League and the senior Cup competition, now to be known as the Marston's Smooth Trophy.

Upcoming meetings, events etc. can now be found in the calendar section

More news:

Details of the Cup draws for 2008 are available on the cup site, and the LCC trophy draws are online in News.

Regular site line-up during the season:

Including the Cup site, we have now passed 1,000,000 page impressions since we started in March 2002, the first play-cricket site to reach this landmark, and June 2007 racked up more than 46000 hits, another record month! We broke the quarter-million mark in 2007, and topped the million mark overall before the start of the 2008 season. Don't forget, if it's here, then it's official!

All League forms for 2008, and updated League rules, are now in Community>Library. If you run out of a form, just download a spare!

Emergency fixture bureaux numbers are now available on the information board.
