See the News section for details of all the DCCL rule changes, and for the full fixture list (before any changes).

Ockbrook & Borrowash claimed the Beechwood Saab Premier League title for the fifth time following victory at Chesterfield, a win that saw them pip runners-up Sandiacre Town by just four points. Sandiacre had done all that they could have by taking maximum points at home to Lullington Park but it was their defeat to seventh-placed Quarndon on 30th July that ultimately cost them the title. Spondon finished in third place with victory over relegated Ilkeston Rutland whilst Ticknall were the next best placed.

Denby claimed the Abbey Glass Division One crown, victory over Sawley giving them the title by just two points over Swarkestone who beat Elvaston. Rolleston and Clay Cross are the two teams relegated.

Cutthorpe claimed the necessary 22pts to take the Burton Glass Division Two prize by a single point from Duffield. Cutthorpe easily beat South Wingfield who are relegated because of Shipley Hall’s victory over bottom-club Derby Congs.

And in ‘the follow on’ sponsored Third Division Ockbrook 2nds held off the challenge of Langley Mill with an easy six wicket win over Alrewas whilst the Millers were being held to a draw by Spondon 2nds. At the bottom it is Lullington Park 2nds who will join Pilsley and Mickleover in the fourth tier of the County League after a heavy defeat to Trentside.
