...Prem - Lullington Park & Spondon score maximums again...Div One - Marehay set early pace...Div Two - Langley Mill lead the way...Div Three - Tutbury maintain lead...

Lullington Park and Spondon are setting the early pace in the Beechwood Mazda Premier League following wins over Eckington and Quarndon respectively. Marehay beat Clifton to go 5pts clear in Play Straight Cricket Division One while Langley Mill are currently setting the pace in Marston's Pedigree Division Two. Technical Turf Division Three is currently led by Tutbury with Derby Congs 5pts back in second.

For those that have still not read the newsletter we are not using the text messaging system to submit results. Result submission is now via an online form, available from the menu on the left of the league website homepage or direct from We will not be looking at the text messaging system (in fact we don’t even have the program on our machines now), so anybody using that method will be wasting their own time and text messages, as well as possibly incurring a fine for their club. Please make your captains aware of this.

A reminder also of the following players from DCCL clubs in the Under-12 age-group who have been approved by the Derbyshire Cricket Board to play in open-age cricket: Archie Clayton (Eckington), Owen Randall (Denby), Joe Jacques (Ticknall), Thomas Jones (Lullington Park).

The latest news can be found right here during the season with results added to the site as they come in, so league tables will be updated immediately and Premier League scorecards will be available straight after each game. With many clubs now using TCS, expect to see more and more games with full details on Saturday night followed by reports on Sunday.
